As we build our ventures we might find millions of vibrant funding options to choose from . Authenticity however does not necessarily mix well with prefab solutions. When it comes to software tools and trends there always is something new and different to use. Crowdfunding is one that we will focus on now.
The perspective I offer is one of a traveling soloist. A bootstrapping technomad with no real interest in reintegrating with the status quo that spat me out so many years ago. So the key is rebuilding what may have been lost and doing so might require me to use different forms than what I had before.
I am a naturally independent person
with skin in the internet and digital design game since 1994, and pro since 1996. I also avoid groups because I tend to experience mayhem whenever I allow myself to be vulnerable to the whims of their members.
I generally believe crowdfunding and other funding methods (like sales funnels) that rely on online public groups to raise money are ridiculous. At least until I find a dedicated niche that does not suffer from a poverty mentality.
What I am offering in this post is a list of references to assist with understanding why crowdfunding is a waste of time, not just for introverted loners but for anyone who is interested in making money online now.
